Pink Beach, One of the Beautiful Beaches in East Lombok

Pink Beach was previously known as Tangsi beach. The name Tangsi is said to have emerged from the Japanese colonial era, where the Japanese army used this beach as a barracks when they just landed. Tangsi itself is another name for barracks or dormitories. This pink sand color is formed because the white sand blends with the red coral grains that are carried to the beach.

These coral reefs grow in shallow water, then the fragments are carried by the waves to the shore so that they blend with the sand. So it will appear pink or pink, even though now the color is not so pink.

In addition, there is also a Sand Island that will appear when the sea water is receding or commonly referred to as rising sand.

2. Calm Waves

In addition to having a distinctive pink sand, one of the beautiful beaches in Lombok also has calm waves and blue sea water.

It's very beautiful, especially if you look around, the more complete with the presence of a green hill and blue sky decorated with soft white clouds.
